Our standard modules: Our tracking modules require a voltage source (plus / ground), and a signal from the ignition to be able to determine when a vehicle is driven. The installation, therefore, is identical to the connection of a standard car radio and thus suitable for all vehicle types.
You will, in any case, receive detailed installation instructions with the delivery of the tracking module. For questions regarding the installation, we are of course here to help at any time, also directly with your car dealership or service centre.
Our ODB2 modules: Our ODB2 modules are simply plugged in to the ODB2 connector of your vehicle, and work immediately. Naturally, your vehicle must be equipped with a standard compliant ODB2 connector for this to function. This is the case generally with all newer vehicles. If unsure, contact your car dealership or service centre.
Should compatibility problems yet occur unexpectedly, we will be happy to exchange your ODB2 module for a standard module or return a full refund for your purchase price.
All our modules have all necessary approvals and certifications for unrestricted use in the passenger compartment of your vehicle. For the installation of the module, we recommend to rely on a competent specialist or workshop.
No. Our tracking modules are delivered in a complete set. All components and necessary cables are included in this package.
No. Our tracking modules are delivered to you fully functional. The tracking modules only need to be installed in your vehicle and work immediately.
The tracking module and the Web portal are delivered fully configured. They can be used immediately.
In addition, you can, of course, customize a variety of default option in the web portal at any time.
Our standard modules automatically record any driven distance using GPS. To match the tracking module’s mileage with the mileage from the vehicle’s tachograph, we recommend to synchronize the mileage after installation and at regular intervals.
Our experience has shown that our tracking modules record the mileage significantly more accurately then compared to the tachograph in many vehicles. Over time this leads to the recorded mileages gradually drifting apart. Therefore, the mileage should be synchronized regularly.
Mileage synchronization is done simply from the web portal. You only need to specify the mileage from the vehicle’s tachograph and this value is then automatically applied.
For our ODB2 modules the synchronization occurs automatically using date received from the vehicle’s ODB2 interface.
There is no additional software that would need to be maintained or updated regularly. You need only a device with a current web browser. It is no matter whether this on your home PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
You will always automatically receive the latest version and also benefit from any new features and additions.
In your own interest and for security, we, however, do recommend to regularly install any manufacturer updates for your PC or device.
Your tracking data is processed with all latest security measures in a European high security data centre. Only you and our trained technical and support personnel under obligation of secrecy have access to the data.
* If you use a credit card for your payment method, payment data may be routed through an international payment network.
Security-sensitive data such as access codes and passwords are always transmitted in encrypted form. To use the web portal an encryption is not mandatory, but can be used at any time by opening the web portal via an https:// connection.
All Smartphone apps use an encrypted connection for all transmissions by default.
All tracking modules and additional functions (if applicable) are billed monthly and automatically charged to your selected payment method.
For new orders with a minimum term, all fees for the minimum term are charged immediately at the time of purchase. Additional monthly fees for these orders will only be charged again after the initial term.
If you have any questions in regards to your account or invoice, you can contact our friendly support team at any time.
After any applicable minimum term, you may cancel subscriptions or additional functions at any time. Our billing only charges subscriptions or functions for the number of days used. You pay only for what you actually use.
